NOTICE – CITY OF ADAMS VOTING EQUIPMENT AUDIT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 7.08 and the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (52 U.S.C. § 21081, the City of Adams will conduct a voting system audit on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at the City Municipal Building located at 101 N. Main Street, Adams WI  53910.  The reporting unit to be audited is Wards 1 – 4, which utilizes the Eagle Optech voting system.  The reporting unit and contests were randomly selected by the Wisconsin Elections Commission.

Dear Permit Holder:

The Adams police department is reminding you to renew your yearly alarm permit. The application/renewal application will be made available to you online at www.cityofadams-wi.gov Click on “Departments”, “Police Department”, “Forms”. The application/renewal should be completed in its entirety including post office box if applicable. The form with your payment should be returned to the police department.

Early Voting for the November 6, 2018 General Election!

 

In-Person Absentee Voting (also known as early voting) will be held at the Municipal Clerk’s Office.

·               Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. -4:15 p.m.

·       Monday, October 1st  through Friday, October 26th , 7:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m. and

 

             1:00 p.m. – 4:30p.m.

 

 

 

·       Friday, November 2nd   – 8:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. -5:00 p.m.

Late Registration begins October 18th.  You must provide a Proof of Residence document when registering to vote.

 

 

 

Photo ID is required to vote… If you do not have a valid Wisconsin Driver License or State ID you can receive a free State ID from your local DMV if you specifically request a free ID for voting purposes.  To register online, visit: http://myvote.wi.gov.
